This is probably one of the biggest reasons women are hesitant about doing a boudoir session. Not everyone is comfortable showing off their photos; I understand this completely. Each woman I photograph has the option to release her images or not. If you do not sign the model release, your images will not be used. While I am absolutely thrilled each and every time a client says yes to me using her images, I respect each client's wishes to not have them used as well. This does not apply to just my website either.
The model release allows me to use the images on Facebook as well as on marketing materials and promotional products. You can also choose to allow them on say, my business cards but not on the website. Some people are comfortable with me using their images on studio samples, where only clients will see them but not on Facebook where their friends might see them.
Whatever you are comfortable with is perfectly fine with me. Like I said, while I am thrilled to be able to show off the beautiful women I get to photograph, they get the final say as to how they are displayed or not. In fact, you might start out thinking no way, no how but once you see the final image you completely change your mind :) When you see how beautiful you look, you just might want to show that off to everyone you know!
If you have been thinking about a session but you have hesitated because you were unsure of who would see the images, hesitate no more. You get the final say and if that is to keep them personal, that is what you will get. Give me a call and let's talk about what is involved in the a session. Ask me any questions about the process and let's get you in front of my camera! I would love to chat with you today! Contact me via the contact page or call 336-309-3506.
