None of these are too difficult but they each require time and unless you do it all yourself, money. It took me a couple of days to change the name everywhere; from going to the city building for my licenses to setting up new email, web address and social medial pages. The website kind of fell into place once I figured out exactly what I wanted it to look like. I am always tweaking it but I really do love it...and the best part? I ♥ the price ;)
Now come the marketing materials. It is exciting at first, designing and playing around with different layouts but then you realize you have to start from scratch with ordering. This...is...not...cheap! The worst part? Deciding which items you need now and which ones can wait so you can stagger the ordering process. I decided to start out with a couple of new business card designs and gift certificates because I need them now. I will be ordering some stickers as well as info cards and packaging items soon.
I went with something new this time around for my business cards and I am so happy with how they turned out. I will probably end up ordering a few more packages with different images on them, I like them that much! I used a pearl finish, which gives them a tiny bit of a sparkle. I really didn't think about it at first but it must have been a subconscious decision because my clients sparkle and my business shines!!
